In the fall of 2021, I undertook the task of transforming the unassuming corner store near the university's art building into a captivating landscape oil painting. Dedicated to capturing the essence of this everyday scene, I observed and painted the subtle interplay of light and shadow. Through consistent attention to detail, I aimed to juxtapose the moody darkness of the surroundings with the vibrant hues of the Santa Clara sky.
